Dog Training Using Praise and reward system
The praise and reward system is undoubtedly the most user-friendly approach of animals to train their dog. This method, often referred to as positive reinforcement training, is considered by experts as the best method of dog training.
In the same how parents reward and praise a child for good behavior so it is with training Your Dog. The difference in dog training is, you praise your dog when the dog does something you approve and ignore your dog's behavior when you disapprove.
In the past, dog training methods did not into account the harm it caused to the animal. Unacceptable and cruel methods, including beatings, electric shocks were once a common practice in dog training. As more people discover the human approach to training the dog, the animal abusing old methods are no longer used.
Praise and reward system take a dog in temperament consideration. This method is such that the dog has the opportunity to absorb the commands you are asking. Praise and rewards that the dog understands that certain behaviors please you and dogs thrive on pleasing their master.
When a course is more significant for the dog, behavior change tend to be faster. Over time, the behaviors become more natural for the dog as the dog has a chance, in fact, the opportunity to use your own brain to decide how to act.
To build on its success in dog training follow these tips and tricks.
The use of sweet foods and showing affection to the animal work much better than simple verbal praise followed by a pat on the head.
The delivery of the reward should follow immediately a behavior to be repeated. It should be clear that the dog as to why it is being rewarded. When the dog displays proper behavior, immediately mark this behavior with a significant characteristic noise (eg, a clicker) or just saying yes in an excited voice, either will work. Treatment must follow immediately so that the dog can understand that if he behaves in such a way, a treatment will be determined. Always use the same marker when the dog repeats behavior and early treatment is not necessary for the dog to repeat the behavior. You need to be consistent for proper training to take place.
Commands used for training should be the same all the time. The dog must be able to link the commands to the expected behaviors. Do not vary your commands as this will only confuse the dog. It's just a matter of repetition until the dog associated with command behavior. A good idea is to pre-determine what commands to use, write and use all the time.
You need to reward your dog in a way that is meaningful for the animal. Most dogs have a preference as far as like and they try to show affection to your preference. Some dogs must do the launches of some treatment, other dogs are not only big eaters and prefer to be rewarded through a game with a favorite toy, or physical disabilities affect you.
You probably already have a good idea how much the dog enjoys being touched and played with. Every dog has a different level of energy and shows, like humans.
The following are good ways to stroke your dog: most dogs I like to have the base of the tail (the lower back, just before the tail starts) scratched gently touched his chest (right between the forelegs) is usually a winner, too. Can also go to the ears: gently rub the muff between thumb and finger, or scratch gently at the base.
As far as food is concerned, just experiment with different food treats until you find one that the dog she loves it. Some dogs actually respond most reliably to training commands when they receive it sporadically instead of predictably. Give the dog is a schedule could prevent irregular tire of the Dog Food reward. Some dogs could make a conscious decision to forgo a treatment.
No Punitive measures should be used with praise and reward method is a definite improvement in dog training.
With this type of training, all you have to do is ignore the behavior you do not want to repeat. Do not give any attention is enough for just about any dog miserable and therefore a deterrent. After a while the dog is decided not to use that behavior.
The more you give the dog attention when he behaves properly, the clearer the connection will be between bad behavior without response and good behavior in which give positive attention and rewards.
