Control Shock
I replaced air shocks with max control shocks on my ‘98 Navigator?
I replaced the shocks in the rear on my ‘98 Navigator with regular max control shocks. But, it’s still low in the back from time to time. 1 min. it’s up the next it’s down. I want the Air suspension off completely. Does any one knows how to turn or take them off. I just want regular shocks on the rear to keep it up.
if you want the air off completely you have to replace the air bags not the shocks. Another question is there anything wrong with the air suspension? if not just turn it off. park the SUV on a level surface start it up when its sitting where you want it turn the air ride switch to off and leave it off. . If the air suspension is bad you have to remove the bags and you can buy a replacement kit or go to a salvage yard and find a Ford expedition that came without the air system and use the springs from that.

When the Sikorsky S-76D helicopter achieved its first flight last month, one of its main features was a dual speed rotor with active vibration control. More than “three years of design, development and testing [went into this] first prototype aircraft,” so the achievement is a notable one.
