How expensive is it to Make Dog food at home?
About how expensive it is to make dog food at home? My four dogs (3 large, 1 small) are currently on Science Diet (large and small bites) and costs about $ 25-30 per week to feed everyone. Does making food at home for dogs with quality ingredients in general, save money compared to breast and Science Diet brands marketed?
You have to do your own math Here, based on the ingredients you want for us. For me it was a little more expensive to mine – boiled chicken with baked potatoes and parsley. Parsley is grown in home .. I factor in $ 0 because I was using as my own kitchen as it was for the dog. The division of Chicken Breast that could buy about 99cents one pounds when I was lucky. The same price of sweet potatoes .. so adding the cost of energy to light my stove and oven, and the price of my time .. And multi-vitamins added … Probably + $ 1.50 a pound, but worth it.
